Substitute Goods
If the product you order becomes unavailable, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to allow you to select a similar product with a similar value.

Colour
A great deal of effort has been made to ensure the colours of carpets shown in photography on this website are as accurate as possible. However, colours may appear slightly differently on different devices.
Dye batches can also vary and therefore it may be possible that your carpet does vary slightly from the sample in either colour or texture or both.
We make every effort to match varying lots to, as near as possible but an exact colour match cannot be guaranteed.

Samples
Dye batches can vary and therefore it may be possible that your carpet does vary slightly from the sample in either colour or texture or both. Once a sample has been detached from the label/title we deem this sample void.

Shading and flattening of carpets
In common with all pile fabrics, carpets may shade and show pile reversal. This occurs when the pile is brushed or lies in different directions and therefore reflects light differently. The extent to which your carpet will show the effects of shading depends upon its construction, design and use. Some carpets, such as Saxony, will probably show your footprints and this is a shading effect. This is not a manufacturing defect and will not affect the wear life of your carpet. Carpets will also flatten with time, particularly in high wear areas such as main walkways, stairs and in-front of sofas, etc.

Tolerance
In terms of tolerance of the carpets, slight size variations cannot be avoided but we warrant that tolerance should be within BS 3655, i.e. 1.25% either way.

Acclimatising
We advise acclimatising your carpet for 48hours. To do this, leave the carpet in the room it is to be installed so it can adjust to the average temperature/humidity of the room.

Damage/Shortages
Any damage or shortages must be reported to us in writing (email is acceptable) within 7 calendar days of the date of the delivery being received. We cannot accept any claims after 7 days. We can only accept a claim for a shortage before the product has been cut into or laid.

If you believe an item is not as described, we will ask for a picture to be emailed to identify the problem(s). If we deem the item to be not as described, we will arrange collection free of charge or aim to find a suitable resolution.

We regret that we cannot accept returns once the item has been cut.

We cannot accept returns if an item is used in any way. It must be in the condition you received it.
